This is a listserv for the National Association of Branch Campus Administrators (NABCA). NABCA was officially charted in 2009, and holds annual meeting of the organization.
Branch Campuses are amorphous in that the administrator position, type of campus, distance from the original, number of programs offered, and the relationship to the original campus vary by each campus, as does the number of students. Some campuses offer complete programs from the first freshman course to the awarding of the degree, whereas others offer degree completion programs meant to provide a community college student an undergradauate degree, and there are branch campuses of community colleges.
The purpose of this moderated list (subscription approval currently) is to provide a resource (other member's thoughts) on issues relevant to the members of NABCA. It is anticipated that posts to the list will be met with enthusiasm and many responses to the issue at hand.
